Situated in the countryside near a traditional Portuguese village, yet only 10 mins from the centre of Tomar. You can experience the real Portugal, taste the wines and the food, visit one of the many festas, site seeing, walking, canoeing, and cycling. Or just enjoy relaxing in the garden, make use of the dip pool, BBQ nights, or help fruit picking in summer. Evening meals also available, train station close by to Lisbon and Porto daily. The local area is very rural, great for cycling and walking, the village of Fungalvaz is only a 10 min walk, it has 3 cafes, supermarket, and a resturant. Local caves 20 mins walk, and a natural swimming pool 10 mins drive. | | Directions | From the fountain roundabout Tomar, take the rd to lerria, take a left for sign PEGEOS, follow on for sign, Aqueduto dos pegeos, Brazoes and Longra, go under the aquaduct, passed Brazoes, through Longra, up the bumpy hill to the STOP sign, turn right and then 2nd left for Casal de so Lourenco, after 1km 2nd house on the left is Casa das flores. | | Transportation | The station of Fungalvaz is a 2 mins walk from the B&B.
