Johnny`s place, three stars apartment offer an ideal accommodation for a pleasant holiday. With a picturesque view of the sea, squares and streets of Šibenik. Regular ship lines enable you to visit the beautiful beaches of the nearby islands Zlarin, Prvić, Kaprije, Žirje or the town beach Jadrija situated at the beginning of St. Anthony`s channel opposite St. Nicolas fortress in only 20 minutes. It takes about 10 minutes to reach the closest beaches Solaris and Brodarica by car. We recommend the Town for the evenings and bars, while discotheques in Vodice and Primošten offer a variety of choices for an interesting night life.
We are situated in the old town center, on the Cathedral square, only 50 m distant from St. James` cathedral which is, as well as its surrounding buildings, including our house, on the UNESCO`s cultural heritage list. The old town center offers an exquisite Renaissance ambience. Whilst exploring the Town and its numerous squares, streets, churches and palaces the visitor gets the impression of travelling through time due to the silence of the old stone built surrounding. Johnny`s place is an old stone building on the Cathedral square with a direct view to a beautiful St. James` cathedral and the sea behind it.
While arranging the place, we were trying to preserve the old spirit and ambience. Having added the facilities required for a modern home, an interesting mixture of new and old came up – a pleasant home where you are surrounded by stone and wooden furniture.
It is quite necessary to mention the beauties of Šibenik county and its two National Parks “Krka” and its waterfalls and “Kornati” with its beautiful archipelago. Paying a visit to both of them is just something you mustn`t miss. We are rather familiar with the areas of the parks, especially that of “Krka” and we would like to show you around. On that journey you can see the remains of 14 fortresses (towns) which rise above the canyon of the river, a monastery on the island of Visovac and Aranđelovac monastery.
The region of Šibenik is famous for its products – especially olive oil and wines.
At Johnny`s place we try to offer the best products of the existing eco - food offer . We are quite familiar with macrobiotic diet.
Our area is also suitable for those who are interested in various nature sports – hiking, climbing, horse riding, animal world exploring ( Falcon center where you can get to know those beautiful birds ), archaeological visits ( especially the ruins from the Roman period – Burnum and many others ), sea sports, sailing, diving, wind surfing, etc.
We also organize the visits to various households where you can taste the home made food and traditional meals, especially fish and cheese. You can also see the way olive oil and wine are produced.
