Overview

Orebic; is situated on the southwestern part of 70km long peninsula of Peljeac, at the foot of St. Ilija (961m). It is the largest town on the peninsula, 120 km far from Dubrovnik and 2 nautical miles from Korcula. Orebic; is a cradle of ancient famous captains and seafarers whose rich tradition is exhibited in the Naval museum. Sailing over the world, they brought home various artifacts and plants.
