You can watch all the action from our balcony with your drink in your hand and then go join in when you feel like it!You have no problem with how to get back to your hostel afterwards, because we are right there! We are also close to the sambadrome and can tell you how to get very cheap tickets for the parades if you want to watch one, and we will have a full guide of what's on and where over the whole carnival week. | | Our hostel rooms are spacious rooms with 9 bathrooms in the hostel, underbed lockers and we are open 24 hrs with very cheap international calls available too.

SambaVilla is located in the Bohemian neighbourhood of Lapa (1 minute walk to Santa Teresa) directly across the street from the historical Lapa arches which is the Bar and clubbing district of Rio de Janeiro. It is a cheap area to eat drink and party with good Metro and Bus connections to Anywhere in the city.

Take any bus with the word LAPA written on the front and get off at ARCOS DA LAPA (Lapa Arches). We are located on the corner of Rua Mem-de-Sa and Rua Evaristo da Veiga. The hostel address is 147 Rua Evaristo da Veiga, which is right in front of the LAPA ARCHES, (only 10 meters away)
It should cost you about 2 reals for the bus.
From the METRO-
Get off at the CINELANDIA METRO Station, and ask for directions to the ARCOS DA LAPA (Lapa Arches). We are located 5 minutes walk from the Metro Stop.
When youre at the Lapa Arches, the Hostel is on the corner of Rua Mem-de-Sa and Rua Evaristo da Veiga.
The hostel address is 147 Rua Evaristo da Veiga, which is right in front of the LAPA ARCHES, (only 10 meters away)
From the Airport-

A Taxi from the Airport ,
All TAXI drivers know the ARCOS DA LAPA (Lapa Arches) The price for a Taxi should be around $R50-$R60 or $25USD.
